UK Property Buyers are a founding member of PROBAS - The Property Buyer's Association. PROBAS was established in 2007 in recognition for the need for high ethical, moral and professional values within the sell and rent back industry, ensuring all of its members meet the highest standards of practice.
PROBAS are aiming to regulate the sell and rent back industry to ensure clients are fully protected and treated fairly. The legitimate companies within the industry are keen to get government approval for the association so that "Sell and Rent back" can firmly establish itself as very real and safe option for many clients.
PROBAS welcomes and supports the various consumer groups (including Shelter, the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Council of Mortgage Lenders) who are campaigning for FSA regulation of the industry and statutory protection for consumers.
